- Research activity (57 JCR publications) and supervising graduates and undergraduates students.
- responsible of the CNR-RSTL research unit on the" Study of material and devices for the application of the Kyoto protocol" (2005- 2007).

2001-2001 Post doc position at ISMN CNR, Bologna
1998-200 Post doc position at the Laboratoire d´Electronique, de Tecnologie et d´Instrumentation (LETI,CEA, Saclay, France)
1997-1998 Post doc position of the National Institute for the Physics of Matter (INFM) at the Laboratoire Léon Brillouin neutron facility (CEA, Saclay, France)

MAJIOR RECENT RESEARCH ACTIVITIES:

1. In situ X-ray techniques for the study of organic devices (solar cells and gas sensors) by time resolved structural, morphological and electrical characterization

2. In situ structural investigations for the study of polymeric membrane fuel cells, in the framework of the NUME project (Italian project for polymeric fuel cells development).

3. X-ray techniques (diffraction and Reflectometry) for the characterization of materials and devices for technological application: magnetic nanostructured films, superconductive films, SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) devices , amorphous metallic alloys, magnetic semiconductors etc

4. Research & Development activity in the framework of the SPARC and SPARX projects for the construction of the Italian Free Electron Laser.

5. Optical spectroscopy (pump & probe) of organic molecules and nanostructured materials for organic devices (O-LEDs, organic PV cells, optical limiting devices, etc).

6. Neutron scattering and diffraction : structure and dynamics of supramolecular complexes
